Manning Dedicates Blowout to Fans with Kids

Posted by Tyson in Satire

Roughly two minutes into the start of the second quarter of last night’s Colts-Ravens matchup, the Colts found themselves ahead 30-zilch. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, when asked about why the recently struggling offense had suddenly come to life in a big way against one of the NFL’s top defenses, had this to say.

“We wanted to dedicate this game to all the parents out there in Indy. These late-starting games can run until midnight, so we wanted to put away the Ravens early enough to let people get to bed by halftime.”

Reaction across Indianapolis was positive.

“It was really nice of them to do that. Particularly on a Sunday night, when you’re so tired from the weekend that John Madden’s rambling incoherence starts to make sense.”, said Courtney Trotter of Fishers.

Please design and build me a house. I am not quite sure of what I need, so you should use your discretion.

My house should have between two and forty-five bedrooms. Just make sure the plans are such that the bedrooms can be easily added or deleted. When you bring the blueprints to me, I will make the final decision of what I want. Also, bring me the cost breakdowns for each configuration so that I can arbitrarily pick one at a later time.”….

Edit: Here’s a great article on why software projects fail…just another insight into what I do for those of you who “know he works in computers, but I’m not sure what he does exactly…”
